Non-excavation drill pipes are primarily used in horizontal directional drilling projects for pipeline crossing and installation. The pipe bodies are made from specialized materials that meet API standards, ensuring consistent performance and durability. The thickened sections of the pipe segments comply with the API 5DP standard, while the thickened areas undergo tempering heat treatment, enabling the steel grade to reach G105 or S135. The joint blanks are forged and pressed using advanced forging techniques, followed by rough machining and subsequent tempering heat treatment. After fine machining, the surface is specially treated to enhance corrosion resistance. Additionally, the double-lift shoulder high-torque-resistant joint threads feature a unique composite shoulder design—incorporating both internal and external shoulders—manufactured exclusively on precision CNC lathes imported from leading global suppliers. This ensures tight tolerances during thread cutting, resulting in superior tensile strength and enhanced torsional yield strength. Every thread is rigorously inspected using internationally recognized thread gauges, guaranteeing the exceptional quality and reliability of the final drill pipe products.
